Last Sunday the first edition of Moon Sisters took place and it was absolutely wonderful! I knew it was sooooooo necessary to hold space for women and allow for their beautiful selves to be just as they are, to share, connect, heal, learn… and that was confirmed on the night.

I was around 25 when my life changed dramatically. I lived in Bali and was madly in love with an Indonesian singer who was born to be on a stage performing. What an energy he exuded! What a presence! Our relationship lasted for the most of two years and taught me to be ‘the other woman’, the number two for love. Although I didn’t realize it at the time, I had been that number two from the very start of the romance. This became clear as we grew more fond of each other and found it very hard to separate. So we continued the relationship.

I genuinely believe that self-empowerment comes through reflection, self-knowledge and utter bravery. The more I learn about myself, the more it gives me space to grow. And if I dare to look at my inner world with kindness, with Love, then I can truly uncover my innate feminine power and live from integrity.

Just recently I have really taken some time to uncover what drives me. What I find truly important and how it presents itself in my actions, thoughts and feelings. What is in my core? This clarity has given me a deeper sense of direction and purpose. And as always, the more I connect to my depths, the more I connect to Love.

Starting a blog both excites me and scares me a little. I love writing, but there are still remnants within me that are resistant to change. And that’s okay. The expansion I’m feeling is real! And this is part of it. I am opening myself more and more, the feminine way. I am being more receptive and trusting. I am blossoming… And it feels out of this world!
